Strictly speaking it doesn’t belong on these pages but it’s quite unusual so I thought I should show it. The case is hallmarked for Chester, date letter H 1891, makers mark IRC. IRC is ‘unidentified’ in Ridgway and Priestley but it looks like the answer is here.
